Gadi Yevarkan leaves Likud, establishes a new party — "Beit Israel"

Gadi Yevarkan, a former MK and former Deputy Minister of Public Security, of Ethiopian descent, announced his departure from Likud and the founding of a new independent party called "Beit Israel".

According to the announcement, the new party will focus on economic welfare, including advancing a "pension law."
