How affirmative representation works
The 2000 Affirmative Representation Law requires government bodies to give preference to Ethiopian-origin candidates when two candidates are equally qualified. Committees must also actively advertise in community-facing channels.

All government vacancies at pras.gov.il. On the form, mark "Ethiopian origin" under "affirmative representation." Keep the submission confirmation.
Top ministries
Aliyah Ministry (5.4%): absorption coordinators, centre managers. Education Ministry (3.1%): inspectors, school principals. Welfare Ministry (1.0%, actively recruiting): social workers, family coordinators.
Pay scale
Entry (grade 38–40): ₪7,500–₪10,000. After 5–8 years (grade 42–45): ₪12,000–₪18,000. Full budgetary pension.
