Kiryat Nordau: the Korczak complex is approved — 304 flats to be demolished, 1,155 built
In a neighbourhood where, per the plan documents, about a third of residents are olim from Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union, a detailed pinui-binui plan for the Agnon-Korczak complex was approved in December 2025. About 87% of rights holders have signed. Construction is due to begin within three years.

The national plan for structural reinforcement expired for good on 18 May 2026, and permit applications can no longer be filed under it. Municipal plans replace it. Ramla, Yavne, Petah Tikva and Beersheba already have an approved plan; Rishon LeZion, Ashkelon, Beit Shemesh and Haifa do not. Pinui-binui is a separate track and is unaffected.
